June 5, 2001: The USFSA site has been updated to reflect a change in the Junior Grand Prix assignments. Emma and Devin are still scheduled to compete at the event in the Czech Republic, but their second event has been changed to Nagano, Japan.

Tomorrow, June 6, will mark the one year anniversary of Emma and Devin's partnership! Hopefully the second year will be even more successful than the first was.
June 3, 2001: Congratulations to Emma, who was voted to receive the Wheeler Award from the Washington Figure Skating Club for sportsmanship, dedication, and achievement. The award was presented to Emma at the club's banquet on June 3. Photos from the event have been added to the "Behind the Scenes" section of the Photo Album.
Emma and Devin have been selected to compete in two Junior Grand Prix events in the upcoming season. They'll travel to the Czech Republic and Sweden for their first international events as a team. Skaters on the Junior Grand Prix earn points based on their placements in each event, and the top eight in each discipline qualify to skate in the Junior Grand Prix Final. Last season, U.S. pairs teams made up half the field of competitors at the JGP Final, with four teams qualifying. Emma and Devin hope to help continue that success this season. After a successful first season, Emma and Devin have been named to the U.S. Reserve Team for the 2001-2002 season. Placement on the national team results in funding from the U.S. Figure Skating Association and helps determine international assignments.
